So it makes sense that ‘The Body Coach’ Joe Wicks has finally announced he is launching his own. Joe shared the news with his 3.8 million followers on Instagram in a video in which he explained what the podcast will be focused on and a few of the people he will have on as guests. He wrote in the caption: ‘So excited to announce my brand new podcast with @bbcsounds ? I can’t wait to share the first episode with you on Monday ?? #TheJoeWicksPodcast‘ Getty Images The podcast, aptly named The Joe Wicks Podcast, is created with BBC Sounds for Radio 4, and centres around maintaining physical and mental health, and the ways they are connected. Joe will play host to a number of impressive guests, including Louis Theroux, Gordon Ramsay, Fearne Cotton, and Russell Brand. He will ask the guests to share the ways they keep healthy both physically and mentally, and to talk about their top tips and life experiences. They will also be getting Joe to try out their own wellbeing techniques and methods. ‘Having my very own podcast where I can speak to the people I have always been interested in has always been a dream of mine,’ he said. ‘I can’t wait for listeners to learn about my guests’ secrets to personal wellbeing with some laughs and interesting life chats along the way.’ View this post on Instagram A post shared by Joe Wicks (@thebodycoach) The podcast will launch on Monday 9th July, meaning fans don’t have long to wait for their first listen. Joe has always been incredibly successful in the fitness and wellbeing industries, but really became a beloved household name during the coronavirus pandemic, where he stepped up to become the ‘nation’s P.E teacher’ in the absence of physical education classes in schools. The star shared daily classes on TV and his YouTube channel to encourage youngsters to stay fit and active, as well as his regular content and videos for seniors, complete with less strenuous exercises.
