YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Life Starbucks is offering free puppuccinos for your pet dog By You Magazine - September 30, 2019 We all need our daily cup of coffee, and lazy trips to Starbucks fit quite nicely into our autumnal weekend plans, particularly when you take into account the new seasonal additions (yes, pumpkin spice lattes are officially back). Now, the beloved coffee chain has now come up with a way to make trips with your pet pup even more satisfying, as they secretly offer free puppuccinos at every branch. Before you panic, a puppuccino doesn’t actually contain any real coffee, and is in fact just a tiny little cup of whipped cream (like the cream you get on your hot chocolate there). Unbeknownst to many, you can request a puppuccino on the house for your furry friend at any Starbucks outlet. Instagram/@cutest.doodles Of course, it is always best to consider your dog’s dietary habits before doing this, as some dogs can suffer from issues such as vomiting or excess gas when eating dairy – you know what’s best for your pup, and if you’re in doubt, you should always consult your vet. The humble puppuccino actually came to light on Instagram, where pet owners everywhere shared snaps of their dogs enjoying their little cups of cream. They revealed the secret, explaining that they were given their doggy treat for free when they asked at Starbucks. The cutely-named puppuccino is in fact a part of the Starbucks secret menu, meaning you have to actively ask for it rather than it being on the main menu when you enter a branch. Even if you do not have a dog, the puppuccino can benefit you through the brilliance of social media, where pup owners share the most adorable photos possible. All kinds of dogs feature on the hashtag #puppuccino, from golden doodle mix breeds to loyal Labradors and sweet Yorkies.
