Getty Images If you’ve decided you want to have a go at baking, it’s quite likely you were left disappointed during your weekly shop as many people have found the supermarket shelves (virtual and real) to be scarce of flour, thanks to everyone’s new passion for baking. However, while flour is often thought of a key ingredient when it comes to baking, there are some clever recipes out there that don’t require any at all. That’s right, your baking dreams have not been thwarted just yet. Getty Images Australian chef Rob Nixon shared a genius recipe on TikTok recently for a flourless cake that looks so delicious, we might even have a go at it even if we did have flour lurking in the cupboards. It requires just two ingredients – eggs and Nutella – and is super easy to make, even the most baking-averse out there could execute it without a hitch. Rob describes the recipe as ‘cheap and easy to make and tastes delicious’ – we’re sold. TikTok / nickoskitchen Two ingredient Nutella cake recipe 4 large or 8 small eggs 240g Nutella Preheat oven to 180 C. Add eggs into a bowl and mix (using an electric hand whisk or standing mixer) on high for 8 minutes. The mixture will triple in volume and become fluffy. Meanwhile, add Nutella into a jug, making sure it’s at room temperature so it’s nice and soft. Slowly add the Nutella to the egg mix and gradually beat it in. The egg mix will collapse and form a batter. Pour into a cake tin and place in your preheated oven for 35-40 minutes. Leave to cool completely and decorate your two ingredient Nutella cake with strawberries and icing sugar. Enjoy!
