YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Food You can get a free Costa coffee when your local branch reopens By You Magazine - July 6, 2020 As the UK re-opens, many of our favourite coffee branches and eateries are beginning to come back to life, including Costa Coffee, who are offering a welcome back treat to their most loyal customers. Until the end of July, customers who have the Costa Coffee Club mobile app will have access to 300 points to spend, which is equivalent to a free coffee (depending on the type and size of drink you choose). The offer is available to existing members of the app, as well as new customers who download the app, meaning it’s easy to reap the rewards on this one. Instagram/Costa 300 points is a fair giveaway, as usually, you earn five points on the app for every £1 you spend. The 300 point offer therefore means you will have £3 to spend automatically, which is pretty impressive. What’s more, if you don’t feel safe enough hitting up your local Costa any time soon, you don’t need to worry; the coffee shop is allowing you to redeem your points at any point in the next 12 months! It can be spent at any of Costa’s shops or drive-thrus. Costa is currently preparing to re-open 2000 of its branches by the end of the month. The opened shops will have social distancing measures in place, and will also be serving a limited food and drink menu, with only its ‘core’ drinks sold initially. View this post on Instagram A post shared by costacoffee (@costacoffee) Like most coffee shops and restaurants, Costa Coffee closed down in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. Some branches have been available for takeaway, drive-thru, or home delivery (through Uber Eats) in the months since, but customers haven’t been able to enjoy their beverages indoors for some time now. In order to find out whether your local Costa branch is re-opening sometime in July and claim your free Costa coffee, you can check out the store locator on their website.
