In particular we love that podcasts provide a chance to listen in on frank, honest and supremely educational conversations from experts in their field. Right now, with the Black Lives Matter movement continuing to swell as it exposes our systemically racist society, many of us are looking for podcasts that discuss race and racism to educate ourselves on the matter. So we’ve rounded up just a few of the best podcasts out there that provide thought-provoking conversations on race, black experiences and the Black Lives Matter movement. Podcasts about race to download now About Race with Reni Eddo-Lodge Acast Reni released her bestselling book Why I’m No Longer Talking To White People About Race to great success, and her podcast aims to take that conversation even further. Recorded in 2018, each of the nine episodes is sadly just as poignant today – featuring key voices from the last few decades of anti-racist activism, Reni looks at the recent history that lead to the politics of today. It won Best Podcast at the first Brown Sugar Awards last year and has amassed thousands of followers since its inception in 2018.
