YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Food Tesco is now selling luxury restaurant-quality ‘ Finest’ meal boxes By You Magazine - April 6, 2021 While M&S meal deals are constantly raved about (and with good reason), many of us overlook the equally fabulous Tesco’s Finest restaurant range. Well, we’re not having it – it’s time to give Tesco’s luxury meal deals the roses they deserve, especially as the supermarket launches a brand new selection of meal boxes within the range. Getty Images While we patiently wait for the reopening of restaurants across the country, the ever so thoughtful people at Tesco have taken it upon themselves to make at-home dining much more delightful with the launch of three luxury Finest Restaurant collection meal boxes. Tesco Bringing the restaurant experience to the comfort of your home, the new range includes everything you need to whip up a chef’s kiss-worthy meal for two, taking your pick out of the three meals on offer: Finest slow-cooked ox cheek, Finest confit duck leg and Finest ballotine of chicken. If you’re anything like us, you’ll be sampling all three, especially when you hear how affordable they are. Tesco The chicken and the duck leg kits are priced at £20 each, which means just £10 per head, while the slow cooked ox cheek is priced slightly higher at £25 per kit due to its even more upscale nature. All in all, it’s pretty purse-friendly considering the prices you’d pay at restaurants for similar so we’re not complaining. Commenting on the new range, Jamie Robinson, Executive Chef at Tesco, said: ‘As much as the nation has embraced cooking during lockdown, we could all do with the occasional night off. These meal boxes are a game changer; restaurant quality mains that have been pre-cooked and beautifully paired with accompanying sides, allowing Tesco shoppers the chance to recreate a stress-free, fine dining experience at home.’ Find the Tesco Finest meal boxes in 215 Tesco stores across the UK, with 73 of the larger stores offering click and collect options.
