Aldi has just unveiled its winter homeware collection, and with it a selection of candles and reed diffusers that will make your home smell just like Christmas, whether you prefer the freshness of pine and peppermint, the sweetness of almonds and sugar plums or the spicy warmth of orange bitters and mulled wine. Aldi If you’re already familiar with Aldi’s home fragrance offering, you’ll know that the supermarket really outdoes itself when it comes to a designer dupe – and this new drop is no exception. Aldi There are takes on familiar notes from Jo Malone London (Bitter Orange, Sweet Almond & Macaroon and Pine & Eucalyptus, to name but a few), and Yankee Candle’s signature (almost) good enough to eat scents, including Black Forest Gateau, Peppermint Kisses and Cinnamon Sugar. However, while JML’s candles start from the £50 mark, and Yankee’s large jars going up to £23.99, Aldi has, of course, stuck with its affordable ethos, with prices starting from just £1.99 for a 140g jar. Aldi Along with the coveted Christmas candles, there’s also reed diffusers, gift sets and gorgeous-smelling centrepieces (a la the Woodwick candles you’d usually find in TK Maxx for £20) – in fact, you’ll probably find something to add a deliciously December-appropriate scent to every room in your home.
