YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Beauty Glossier’ s new Skywash eyeshadows make ‘ no make-up make-up’ easier than ever By You Magazine - February 25, 2020 Glossier is known for its preference for low-key, pared-back beauty, which starts with great skin, and continues with subtle make-up. This is perhaps one of the reasons its more ‘glam’ diffusion line Glossier Play wasn’t a huge hit, as the brand is known and loved for its simplicity, and commitment to creating a ‘cool girl’ no make-up make-up look. The brand’s newest drop feeds right into this aesthetic: its Skywash eyeshadows come in seven shades, and offer the perfect subtle wash of colour for lids, without being too overtly bold or colourful. This is the make-up product die-hard Glossier fans have no doubt been waiting for; an opportunity to wear colour but in an understated way. Glossier Skywash eyeshadows, £15 each, Glossier Glossier describes the product as ‘a longwearing eyeshadow with a diffused, matte finish.’ The colours are ‘inspired by Southwest landscapes,’ and can be used to add some depth to the eye area with a single swipe, or ‘for a refined, modern wash of colour,’ you can simply add more. Glossier The formula is said to be smudge-resistant, and having tried them, we can confirm they stay put pretty well with minimal creasing. Because of this, they dry down fairly quickly, meaning you have to be quick to blend after application. Glossier The products come packaged in long pen-like tubes, and each one has a doe-foot applicator for easy application. They then also come in Glossier’s usual white and pink boxes. There are seven shades, with a fair few neutrals, and a couple of more vibrant options. Our favourites are ‘Terra,’ a rich red-tinged brown, and ‘Pool,’ a beautiful pastel cornflower blue. Glossier Then there’s Lawn (a fresh green), Pebble (a neutral taupe), Valley (a warm peach), Echo (a cocoa brown), and Palm (a golden beige). They’re all beautiful, we just wish there was a lilac in there too! All seven Skywash eyeshadows are available to shop now at glossier.com, and cost £15 each.
