The global confectionery company behind pretty much all of the nation’s favourite sweet treats has blessed us once again with its new elite take on the original KitKat. Nestle Gone are the days where customers could only choose between the classic milk chocolate or white chocolate fingers because now, the brand is offering shoppers the change to design their very own bespoke KitKat bar and it looks luxe. The new service is exclusively available at John Lewis & Partners (both online or in-stores) and allows customers to pick a base for their eight finger KitKat bar with options including milk, dark, white and pink chocolate. They will then have the opportunity to customize it with three toppings of their choice and trust us when we say that the flavours available sound delicious. We’re talking everything from toasted coconut flakes to salted caramel chunks. In fact, there are so many different toppings that the special edition KiKats can be made with 1,500 possible flavour combinations. Impressive! Nestle Rachel Costello, John Lewis Partner and Gift Food Buyer, commented: ‘I think our customers will love these exciting new flavours from such an iconic, much loved brand and the experience of making their own KitKat. There are so many options that everyone can find their perfect flavour. These special KitKats will make fun and unique Christmas gifts and stocking fillers.’ MORE: John Lewis & Partners’ Quality Street pick and mix is back Similarly, Rabia Khan, Head of KitKat Chocolatory for Nestlé UK & Ireland, said: ‘We know how much people enjoy experimenting with new and exciting KitKat flavours and the KitKat Chocolatory offers a whole new, premium KitKat experience as well as the chance to create your very own personalised break and have it delivered right to your door.’ The special KitKat bars will be available from 26 September till December 24 2019, priced at £14 each.
