She did not get the crystal. 3 When this contestant kept paddling not realising that his boat was tethered to the corner of the pool Tap to play GIF Tap to play GIF Channel 4 / Fizz and RDF West / Via channel4.com This lasted for a good 20 seconds Channel 4 / Fizz and RDF West / Via channel4.com After he paddled to the weighing scales where the actual challenge he needed to solve was he abandoned the paddle that got his raft there in the first place Channel 4 / Fizz and RDF West / Via channel4.com And then when he got the crystal he had absolutely no way to get back because he couldn t move his raft Channel 4 / Fizz and RDF West / Via channel4.com So with seconds left he resorted to doing this Tap to play GIF Tap to play GIF Channel 4 / Fizz and RDF West / Via channel4.com He got the crystal though. 4 When comedian Tom Allen had to carry jigsaw pieces over a wet log to release a crystal which he only finished with literally seconds to spare Channel 4 / Fizz and RDF West / Via youtube.com This meant that he had no time to collect the crystal that was popping up from the middle of the pyramid Channel 4 / Fizz and RDF West / Via youtube.com The problem Members of his team got a bit prematurely excited over something they had in fact lost Channel 4 / Fizz and RDF West / Via youtube.com Just because you solve the puzzle doesn't mean you win the crystal. 5 When this contestant didn t realise that for this maze where you had to solve sums to open the doors you needed to remember the code for the way out and the way in Channel 4 / Fizz and RDF West / Via channel4.com The clue was the fact that "AND EXIT" was underlined.
