For grown-up staples Bomb Petite Bomb Petite isn’t just a brand, it’s an entire site dedicated to showcasing the best of petite fashion, including its in-house range plus under-the-radar independent names. The edit also features gym wear and lingerie. Top, £88, Bomb Petite The workwear go-to Jennifer Anne Petite label Jennifer Anne understands my tailoring dilemma. I can carry off a blazer but ruled out the two-piece after failing to find ankle-length trousers. This well-proportioned suit isn’t just shorter, it’s designed with less material so shoulders don’t bulge and there’s no need to roll up sleeves. Also look out for smart shift dresses.Jacket, £240, Jennifer Anne Trousers, £140, Jennifer Anne The one-stop for posh frocks Reformation Reformation is still one of my favourites for occasion wear, despite the fact I have to order it from the US. I can’t get enough of its aptly named Don’t Call Me Cute petite versions of its ultra-cool cult dresses. You should also head here for denim, sundresses and jumpsuits. Dress, around £145, Reformation On-trend at a snip Asos Asos has one of the biggest collections of petite clothing online. You can find everything here, from basics, workwear and denim to occasionwear from its own line as well as other brands. I love this jumpsuit as its cut in the right proportions. Jumpsuit, £32, Asos Best for dresses Boden Boden offers a petite option across a large number of its trademark styles so you don’t miss out on your favourites. This dress ticks summer’s rainbow trend – I’d wear it with plimsolls at the weekend or heels for a wedding.
