He's a bit shy and introverted, but he's also intensely creative and caring. Charlie came out some time before the events of Heartstopper and he had a rough time with bullies. Now he's ready to put all that behind him and find his feet at school. This is Joe's first-ever acting role! Suddenly separated from her best friends, Elle finds it difficult to fit in at first, but soon finds her groove.This is Yasmin's first-ever acting role! He pretty much shuns everyone else and actively dislikes participating in big social outings and school sports (relatable). Tao isn’t afraid to stand up for what he believes in, no matter who opposes him. This is William's first-ever acting role! She becomes very close with Elle, whom she introduces to Darcy, and soon they are all thick as thieves! He secretly hits on him as soon as he learns Charlie is gay (before the events of Heartstopper). Poor Charlie doesn't realise at first that Ben is a bit of a fuckboi, and convinces himself that they are boyfriends. He picks on Charlie and Tao, and he picked on Elle before she left. Initially, Nick and Harry are mates, which puts considerable strain on Nick's blossoming friendship with Charlie. This is Cormac's first-ever acting role! You can follow him on Instagram. 10 Rhea Norwood as Imogen Heaney Netflix/@rhea.norwood / Via Instagram Imogen is a sweet little thing who has a major, if not slightly unrequited, crush on Nick. Tori is reserved, a little unusual, but she has a lot of love to give.Where you know Jenny from: Call the Midwife. In the year before Heartstopper is set, he would often let Charlie take refuge in his classroom, and would help and advise him on how to deal with bullies. Mr. Ajayi has great vibes, and is like an older queer mentor to Charlie, which is very cute.Where you know Fisayo from: Cucumber, Ordinary Lies, The Personal History of David Copperfield, The Girl with All the Gifts. Fisayo is too cool for social media. 13 Olivia Colman as Nick s mum Netflix/@itsoliviacolman / Via Instagram Yes, THE Olivia Colman stars as Nick's mum!!
