Each year, as the temperature rises for summer, we’re on the look out for new, lighter products that are suitable for the hotter climate – and while SPF-filled sun protection creams are at the top of our lists, there’s another hero product we should be getting our hands on according to TV presenter, Ruth Langsford. Getty Images Taking to her Instagram over the bank holiday weekend, the 58-year-old This Morning star shared a video where she revealed her favourite skincare product for when warm weather hits – the Ultrasun’s Protection Face Factor 50 sun cream. Speaking to her 400k followers, Ruth said: ‘Loving this sunshine but I’m protecting my face with @ultrasunuk Factor 50 ….doesn’t make you look like a ghost!! They do a lovely Factor 30 tinted one too. All their products available @qvcuk Enjoy but protect people! ’. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ruth Langsford (@ruthlangsford) The sunscreen, which retails at £32 for 50ml on the Ultrasun’s website, promises to both moisturise your skin and protect it from the sun’s harmful rays. There are several options in the Ultra Sun range, including tinted products and anti-pollution formulas, but the version Ruth is using offers anti-ageing properties to customers specifically targeting pigmentation. Ruth isn’t the only celebrity to rave about the Ultrasun range – fellow TV presenter and Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden was one of many to comment on the post, saying: ‘That stuff is amazing.’ While plenty of fans agreed, with one comment saying: ‘@helenscottreedUltra sun is amazing – The only product that prevents my prickly heat – ?’ and another called the bottle ‘the best sun protector.’ With that being said, there’s only thing left to do: try it out for yourself. Well, if it’s good enough for Ruth and Amanda, it’s certainly good enough for us!
