YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Beauty Caroline Hirons 2020 product of the year is finally available in the UK By You Magazine - June 15, 2021 We think it’s fair to say that anything Caroline Hirons touches truly does turn to gold. Just think back to the first time she intro’d Pixi’s Glow Tonic; the CH effect caused sellout after sellout, and the product quickly reached cult status for good reason. So form an orderly queue, because the latest Hirons-approved beauty product has finally hit UK shores, after only being available across the pond for some time now. View this post on Instagram A post shared by CAROLINE HIRONS (@carolinehirons) The skincare expert loves Then I Met You’s Living Cleansing Balm so much, that she declared it her 2020 product of the year during an Instagram video in which she talked about her cleansing ‘empties’. Sadly, up until recently, desperate fans were not able to bag the product, however, as it was yet to have a UK stockist. Enter: Cult Beauty, the online retailer that has answered all of our prayers. Finally, Charlotte Cho’s entire Then I Met You line is available over here, including the much-anticipated balm cleanser. Then I Met You is inspired by the Korean concept of jeong, which evokes a feeling of affection or empathy to other people or places. Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm, £37, Cult Beauty While there are six products in total (including an essence, toner, and lip mask), it is the Living Cleansing Balm that has sent beauty buffs into overdrive. The beautiful formula is perfect for a first cleanse to remove makeup, and rivals the likes of Emma Hardie’s balm. It features lightweight plant oils such as sea buckthorn oil, olive oil, and grapeseed oil, and is packed full of fatty acids and antioxidants. As well as removing makeup with ease, it promises to leave skin super soft, hydrated, and with a noticeable glow. Five-star reviews are already appearing on Cult Beauty’s product page, with fans saying the cleansing balm is most definitely worth the wait. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Cult Beauty (@cultbeauty) ‘I’ve wanted to try this ever since skin queen Caroline Hirons raved about it as her product of 2020 and I’m so glad I snapped one up before they sold out like Adele tickets,’ wrote one user. ‘It is such a pleasure to use and it definitely gets off every scrap of SPF and debris of the day. My face felt super soft after and I can’t wait to use it again.’ Alexia Inge, Co-founder Cult Beauty also shared that she believes this is the ‘best cleanser ever,’ which is quite the claim from such a beauty insider. ‘This balm melts into a smooth oily massage-bed of fabulousness, lifting all makeup or SPF or dirt from your skin in such a sensuous, delightful way. It either washes off with warm water or, my preference a hot cloth to leave a happy, boosted surface in its wake,’ she wrote. ‘This is K-beauty 2.0,’ she finished. You can buy the product (along with the rest of the line) at Cult Beauty now, for £37.
