Enter online fashion giant ASOS, who have just launched a new underwear range shown on models with different body shapes and skin tones, to offer customers the level of choice that they deserve. Announcing the arrival of the products on Twitter, ASOS wrote: ‘We have new underwear, and we think it’s fab’ – and their social media following certainly agreed. The inclusive new collection has already won the brand huge applause from shoppers, with many calling the ad campaign ‘amazing’ and ‘beautiful’. It’s not the first time that ASOS have been hailed as an example when it comes to nude clothing and accessories. Earlier this month, they were praised by fashion blogger Georgina Horne for offering four different options in their ‘nude’ heeled sandals, and acknowledging that ‘nude is more than boring beige’. https://twitter.com/FFigureFBust/status/981183826717298688 However, they’re not the only brand to make nude clothing and lingerie more accessible. Nubian Skin, which launched in 2014 and is stocked in House of Fraser and Fenwick, sells nude lingerie, hosiery and shoes for women of colour, whilst Bianca Miller London (founded by former The Apprentice contestant Bianca Miller) provides a selection of shades in both tights and nail polish. ‘As a woman of colour, I have long been frustrated by not being able to find the right skin-tone tights, which meant I used to end up wearing black or going bare-legged, which is not appropriate for many corporate situations,’ Bianca explained during an interview with Drapers in 2015. ‘It’s the same with things like nude nail varnish, lipstick and shoes for my skin colour.’ ‘It is not just about ethnicity.
