YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Interiors IKEA is launching its first wellness collection By You Magazine - March 6, 2018 Homeware giant IKEA is launching its first ever collection dedicated to bringing wellness to the everyday. The HJÄRTELIG range, designed by Maja Ganszyniec and Andreas Fredriksson, combines furniture and textiles using sustainable, natural materials, plus lifestyle accessories such as scented candles and yoga mats and blocks, to help you destress in your new organic-inspired environment. IKEA As you might expect, the colours in the offering veer towards the neutral – think Scandi-inspired greys, browns and pales blues, to tie in with the textures of cotton, rattan and wood, which are also woven throughout the palette. No matter what theme or style you’ve chosen for your home decor, your purchases will blend in seamlessly. Prices start from just £3 for a jewellery bowl, continuing to £12 for accessories like vases, £40 for bed linen and rising to £99 for a wooden room divider; but no matter how much you spend, the idea is that you’ll feel the same effect – ‘to press the “pause” button’ and recover from the pace of modern life. IKEA Alee Abas, Sales Leader for Bedrooms at IKEA UK and Ireland says that the inspiration for the collection comes in part from the country’s work ethic: ‘The HJÄRTELIG range is IKEA’s first full range which focuses on helping people improve their emotional and physical wellbeing.’ ‘We know that British people are some of the most hard-working in the world and that’s why we believe it’s important to take a step back from the often-hectic modern life to re-focus and re-vitalise.’ IKEA The most important thing to note is that the range is all limited edition, so it’s worth heading to stores sharpish if you’ve got our eye on a particular item. We’ll see you in the queue with our bed canopy and plant pots… The Ikea wellness collection HJÄRTELIG will be available in stores from April 2018. For more information visit ikea.com.
