But have you ever wondered which country in the world is the best place for women to live? A new study has revealed just that after analysing the every day lives of women in 100 different countries. As a result, the number one country for women to live in proved to be Norway, due to their high standard of living and strong equality laws. Additionally, the Nordic country’s average gender pay gap is 7.1 per cent, which compared to the UK’s 17.9 per cent, is very impressive. Norway was followed by its neighbouring country, Sweden, which ranked in as the second best place for women to live, while Canada came third and Finland, Iceland and Denmark were were fourth, fifth and sixth.
