With an almond toe and v-shaped dip, they looked high-end but were in fact only £35. Now, the retailer has given the style an update for SS21. Featuring the same almond toe but with a slightly softer v-shaped dip for 2021, M&S’ Leather Flat Ballet Pumps are just as versatile as before but this time, feature a woven upper detail. The touch of woven texture has already won us over by adding some intrigue to the easy slip-on style we fell in love with last year and even remind us a little of Sezane’s famous hand-braided Laura Courts. These really are something of an easy-to-wear wardrobe staple and have even been endorsed by the UK College of Podiatrists for being easy and comfortable to walk in. A win-win! The Leather Flat Ballet Pumps are also available in two colours, Stone and Metallic, and are priced at a reasonable £45 this year. Yes, that is £10 dearer than 2021 but then they are real leather!
