Alice’s design is a beautifully fitting blouse in a flattering soft pink with a removable pussy bow. Available from Tuesday and perfect for autumn – not that we’re wishing that upon ourselves just yet… Your inspiration for the blouse? Gillian Anderson in The Fall. Her perfect silk shirts almost stole the show. I was after that old-school sheen and a fit that was somewhere between a man’s shirt and floaty blouse. It needed some structure, but I didn’t want it to be too sexy – that’s not really my thing! Go-to uniform? High-waisted jeans by Cos or M.i.h and breton tops, which I have an endless stash of, along with stripy shirts. I like to tuck everything in. Handbag of choice? My friend Laura bought me a black Gucci bag for my 30th – it was wildly generous. I feel as though I should be paying her back in instalments. What would you wear on a hot date? Something silky on top, maybe a kimono, then jeans and flats. I live in flat shoes, and on a date I think it’s important to be yourself, right? The trend you just can’t wear? Embroidered folk tops – they’re no good if you have boobs. I end up looking like a woman who should really be in the kitchen making dumplings. As a professional festival goer, any tips on the fashion front? Ignore the weather forecast and pack several layers. A waterproof, too, of course. My favourites are the high-quality designs by Stutterheim – you’ll never get wet in one – and lighter styles by Rains that you can roll up and stuff anywhere. The music we should be downloading for summer getaways? The new Haim album, Something To Tell You, is excellent. I’m also playing Thundercat and funk group Vulfpeck on a loop.
