The Italian aperitif not only looks the part, but it’s everything you want from a tipple on a hot summer’s day – light, refreshing and simply delicious. And this year, it celebrates its 100th anniversary. Getty Images To mark the occasion, All Bar One is offering customers a complimentary glass of Aperol Spritz in their bars across the country. Hurrah! It’s not every day that a classic cocktail celebrates a century of existence. So the popular bar chain has decided that it is a moment to share with the entire nation, and what better way to do than then giving out free drinks? All you have to do to claim yours is register your name and email online. You will then receive a unique code to show to the bartender. Then simply head down to your local All Bar One during ‘aperitivo hour’ – the golden hours between 5pm and 8pm in Italy, where an Aperol Spritz is typically enjoyed alongside light aperitivo bites, and claim your complimentary cocktail.
