It turns out your fizzy drinks habit could actually win you some cash. Yep, there are currently a selected number of Diet Coke cans on supermarket shelves that could earn you a casual £1000. Getty Images The brand has hidden 10 ‘imperfect cans’ of Diet Coke in some specially marked 24-packs available at Tesco stores across the country. Whoever gets their hands on one of the cans, gets rewarded the generous sum of money, meaning ten people out there are about to be £1000 richer. The special offer is on from 16 June till 16 July in selected Tesco stores. But what exactly makes an ‘imperfect can’? Well, it has been made relatively obvious to us as the special cans will feature an incomplete version of the brand’s iconic silver, red and black logo. It will have the red part missing and feature a sign saying ‘you are a winner’ at the top, so keep your eyes peeled. Tesco ‘Diet Coke has an iconic look, but for a limited time only, we’re excited to launch the hunt for 10 imperfect Diet Coke cans and offer those that find one £1,000, which hopefully in return will help make their summer even more perfect,’ the brand announced. The brand ran a similar competition back in October to raise for Breast Cancer Awareness month by hiding ten special limited edition pink Diet Coke cans in 30x330ml packs as part of ASDA’s Tickled Pink initiative. Additionally, Coca Cola is also running a separate competition for football fans this summer, giving them a chance to win tickets to see their favourite team play in the 2019/20 season. Once again, all you have to do to be in with a chance is find the codes on promotional packs of Coca-Cola original taste, Coca-Cola zero sugar, Diet Coke, Fanta, Sprite as well as the brand’s other drinks. There are 120 tickets up for grabs each week, so what are you waiting for? Let’s go!
