Many of them had these jackets made while they were out there – I used to collect them. These rose gold diamond earrings were a birthday present from my staff. They were made by my friend Ece Sirin, who owns the jewellery brand Bee Goddess. All her pieces have mythological significance. My husband Tim [Garner] gave me this diamond ring – which I’d seen in a shop called Rohan Jewellery – the day after my father’s funeral in Perth, Australia. He died at the age of 90 after living there for 40 years. I wear it often and think about him. My mother used to live with us and I would wash her hair every Sunday. We would sit at my dressing table while I put in these rollers and blow-dried it. I couldn’t bring myself to part with them after she died last year. My middle daughter Genevieve, 25 [sister to Noelle, 36, and Poppy, 19] wore this vintage dress to her 1930s-themed 21st birthday party. We found it in an amazing shop called Jane Bourvis in West London. I keep it in my mother’s wardrobe with other significant items of clothing as I don’t trust Genevieve with it! Tim is a minimalist who is happy to chuck everything – but he knows to never touch these boots. They were Genevieve’s when she was tiny. Now I keep them on the boot rack at our farm. The New Forest farm where we live belonged to my grandmother’s family – our link with the area goes back to 1790. This branding iron belonged to my great grandfather. The ‘S’ stands for his surname, Strange. This was my father’s school desk. It’s late Victorian or early 20th century and was in his old bedroom at my grandparents’ house in Southampton, where I would sleep as a child. Kate Moss gave me this beautiful bottle of Diorissimo last Christmas. We exchange presents every year and it was lovely to receive it after she went her own way in 2016, having spent 28 years with Storm.
