The now-famous spotty Zara dress was one such item back in 2019, but now another dress might be about to steal its crown. Reformation Ingrid Dress in Emerald, £350, Reformation The Ingrid dress by Reformation has been wish-listed by 10,000 people on Lyst in just the last two months alone – and we can totally see why. Featuring a figure-hugging bodice, removable spaghetti straps, a square neckline and a long flowing floor-skimming skirt with a thigh-high slit, it is equal parts classy and sexy ie. the ultimate equilibrium. It’s a simple dress, but that’s exactly where its beauty lies. Firstly, the straps are removable so that already makes for two different looks. Add strappy heels and delicate, minimal jewellery and you’ve got yourself the perfect formal look, ideal for wedding guest outfits. Reformation Ingrid Dress in Celadon, £350, Reformation However, add flat sandals, big sunglasses and a wide-brimmed floppy hat and you have a winning casual summer outfit, instead. Versatility at its finest. Available in eight different colours, apparently it’s the emerald and celadon (like a pale teal) colourways that are proving the most popular amongst shoppers. But since both of those have nearly completely sold out already, the other colours are just as lust-worthy – there’s blush, navy, champagne, cherry, ivory and praline (a richer take on the aforementioned blush). Heck, if you’re a minimalist bride, the ivory shade could even make an excellent wedding dress! At £350, it’s not the cheapest dress on the market (although as a wedding dress it’s an absolute bargain), but considering its versatility, we reckon you’ll be getting your costs-per-wear down pretty quickly (and for many, many years to come).
