YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Beauty Aldi adds to its K-beauty skincare line with more Glow Recipe dupes By You Magazine - January 5, 2022 We’ve got some good news for you if you’re a fan of Aldi’s bargain beauty range – in particular the Korean beauty inspired range, as the supermarket has just expanded the bestselling range to include even more products. Aldi The range first started off with three limited edition beauty buys that were all dupes of Korean beauty brand Glow Recipe: an avocado eye cream, watermelon moisturiser and pineapple face serum. Of course, in true Aldi style, all of its products sat at a much lower price point than their original inspirations – in fact, shoppers saved up to a whopping 88 per cent by opting for Aldi’s K-beauty inspired line. And now, there are three new exciting Aldi Glow Recipe dupes: a banana souffle face cream, papaya scrub and plum serum. So what can you expect from these skincare bargains? This is everything you need to know… The Aldi Glow Recipe dupes Aldi Banana Souffle Face Cream, £4.99, Aldi This lightweight cream will protect your skin’s moisture barrier, hydrating and healing dry skin thanks to its hero ingredient Squalane, while protecting from environmental stressors to reveal softer, smoother skin. Aldi’s version comes in at £4.99, a bargain in comparison to Glow Recipe’s £36 cream, but still has many of the same ingredients, including banana and turmeric,. Aldi Plum Hyaluronic Acid Serum, £4.99, Aldi For a hit of hydration, Lacura’s new plum-infused serum is formulated with three antioxidant-rich plum extracts and enriched with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin B5 for a lightweight, fast-absorbing gel-water texture that helps to rejuvenate complexions, hydrate skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. While Aldi’s costs a purse-friendly £4.99, Glow Recipe’s Plum Plump Hyaluronic Serum will set you back £37, delivering you a £32.01 saving. Aldi Papaya Enzyme Face Scrub, £4.99, Aldi Then there’s the Papaya Enzyme Face Scrub, a dead ringer for Glow Recipe’s Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm and delivering a similar polished, glowing complexion. It removes impurities to improve the appearance and texture of skin thanks to its dual exfoliation properties, physical Cellulose and added papaya enzymes. Again, at £4.99 a pot, Aldi’s is £24.01 cheaper than Glow Recipe’s £29 product. Lacura Pineapple Face Serum, £4.99, Aldi Lacura’s Pineapple Face Serum promises to brighten skin and balance skin tone, thanks to its list of key ingredients: pineapple extract, Vitamin C and turmeric extract. You’ll find pineapple and Vitamin C pop up in a lot of brightening products because of their enzymatic qualities, which provide a gentle peel for the skin. Aldi’s serum comes in at an affordable £4.99, compared to Glow Recipe’s £46 equivalent. Lacura Watermelon Moisturiser, £4.99, Aldi Follow the serum with the Watermelon Moisturiser, which aims to hydrate and promote cell regeneration for a fresh and dewy finish. As much as we love to eat it in the summer, watermelon is traditionally used in Korean skincare for its anti-inflammatory properties and ability to soothe. The moisturiser also costs just £4.99 – that’s £14.51 cheaper than Glow Recipe’s cult Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturiser. Lacura Avocado Overnight Eye Cream, £4.49, Aldi The good stuff doesn’t stop there, though. Say goodbye to dull under-eye circles with Lacura’s Avocado Eye Cream. The coffee seed extract and retinol help skin around the eyes appear lifted, firmer and brighter – just what you want. The mask also includes must-have ingredient Niacinamide. Priced at £4.49, shoppers will save £36.51 buying the Lacura eye cream instead of Glow Recipe’s £41 equivalent. Like many of Aldi’s dupes, we predict the new Lacura products to fly off the shelves, so it’s worth bagging them while you can. The whole range including the new additions will be available to pre-order from the Aldi website from 9 January and in stores from 13 January.
