But when you’ve had enough of days on end of leggings, tracksuit bottoms and sweatshirts (especially as we’re now in a second lockdown in England), we’re looking for something else with maybe a bit more style, but that doesn’t let us down in the comfort stakes. Enter: dungarees. Great for days at home as well as any outdoor socialising we’ll be doing during lockdown, dungarees are fast becoming our go-to for a throw on outfit that makes it look like we made an effort. And they’re excellent for layering: they look great over a T-shirt, turtleneck or jumper and are just as happy under a chunky cardigan, too. Pair with boots or trainers, they really are the gift that keeps on giving.
