YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Celebrity Phoebe Waller-Bridge s new HBO show will be your next TV addiction By You Magazine - February 17, 2020 There’s no denying that Phoebe Waller-Bridge is the reigning queen of TV. But with Fleabag over and the third season of Killing Eve nowhere near ready to hit our screens, many of us have been left with a Waller-Bridge shaped hole in our hearts. Luckily, that’ll be healed much sooner than expected as the superstar writer and actor is working on a new HBO show. Run is a hilarious rom-com thriller series created by Waller-Bridge and her Killing Eve co-writer Vicky Jones and guess what? It’s coming to both HBO and Sky Atlantic in April. So what’s it all about? Here’s everything we know – including the first trailer… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jwEiXdJGKM&feature=emb_title The plot As seen in the trailer, Run is about Ruby and Billy – two exes from university who reconnect after Billy reaches out to Ruby, asking her to leave her current life behind to start a new one with him with just one simple word. 17 years ago, the two made a pact that if either of them texted the word ‘run’ to the other and they responded the same, they’d meet in New York’s Grand Central Station and start a cross-country trip of America. The two then embark on the journey together as exes, with Ruby leaving her husband and their life in the suburbs to go with Billy. Meanwhile the rest of the cast is made up of Rich Sommer (Mad Men) who plays Ruby’s husband Laurence, Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife) plays Billy’s former assistant, Fiona and Tamara Podemski (Coroner) will play a police detective named Babe Cloud. Waller-Bridge will also star in the show as Laurel, who Billy and Ruby meet during their travels. The air date The first season of Run is set to launch on Sky Atlantic on 15 April, so there’s not long to wait!
