YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Food M& S is selling an Easter Bunny Colin the Caterpillar cake and it’ s seriously cute By You Magazine - February 14, 2020 Marks & Spencer’s Colin the Caterpillar cake is nothing short of a national icon, and these days, it’s not just for birthdays. After the success of the Christmas Colin, which had sweet-toothed fans across the country scouring the shops, there’s now an Easter Bunny Colin the Caterpillar cake coming to a store near you. The new design is the perfect seasonal upgrade to the classic Colin, with the same milk chocolate-smothered sponge updated with mini carrot decorations, egg sprinkles and an equally adorable Easter bunny face. It’s available in stores from 31 March, giving you plenty of time to sample its delights before Easter Sunday (which falls on 12 April this year, if it’s not already blocked out in your diary). Marks & Spencer Easter Bunny Colin the Caterpillar, £10, Marks & Spencer The Easter Bunny Colin the Caterpillar cake is just one of many Easter treats heading to M&S for the big day, and we’re talking both savoury dishes and desserts. If you plan a sit-down dinner to celebrate, you’ve got a choice of spring herb chicken, a juicy butter-basted bird with lemon, garlic and herb seasoning, and slow-cooked lamb shoulder that’s so tender it melts in the mouth. The chicken serves four while the lamb is designed for six, so if you’re feeding a crowd, you could even opt for one of each, plus all the usual trimmings, of course. The store’s hand-selected seasonal veg offers include green beans, baby carrots and white potatoes, all of which you can get for £1 between 7-11 April. Marks & Spencer Spring Herb Chicken £7.50 for 1.8kg, Marks & Spencer Marks & Spencer Slow Cooked Lamb Shoulder £20, 1.95-2.45 kg, Marks & Spencer However, the pudding line-up is really where it’s at for M&S Easter 2020 – as if Colin’s glorious makeover wasn’t enough, there are a number of cute options including a ‘cracked egg’ trifle with chocolate custard and orange ‘egg yolk’ glaze, Belgian chocolate eggs with a creamy mousse filling, and a burrowing bunny cheesecake, complete with cookie crumb soil. Marks & Spencer We don’t know about you, but we’ll have our spoons poised and ready when the full range arrives on 8 April.
