If spending your day paddling in the sea isn’t your thing, however, why not try one of the highest-rated coastal walks in the UK instead? Gower / Getty Images Analysing online reviews from TripAdvisor to create a weighted ranking, saveonenergy.com have identified the highest-rated coastal walks in the UK. Taking the top spot and therefore the highest-rated coastal walk in the UK, is the Gower Peninsular, Swansea. Gower itself was also recently voted the best place in the UK to relocate to and was the first area in the UK to receive an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ classification. Jersey / Getty Images In second place is St Brelade’s Bay, Jersey. Be warned though, although the beach received a top spot in the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards in 2019, it’s also been found to be one of the most expensive to visit in the UK so not ideal if you’re on a strict budget. At the other end of the UK and in third place is Quiraing, in the Isle of Skye. Though it’s not directly on the coast, the walking route offers stunning views of the coastline in all directions.
