Which is why we were more than a bit ecstatic when we laid eyes on a certain checked Phase Eight dress, which bears many resemblances to KITRI’s Margot dress – but for £76 less. While not an exact like-for-like dupe, the Phase Eight dress does have many similar elements that had us immediately thinking of KITRI’s Margot dress in orange gingham, one of the style’s newer iterations. KITRI Margot Orange Gingham Midi Dress, £145, KITRI While KITRI’s Margot dress costs £145, Phase Eight’s version, which is available at M&S (now that the retailer stocks a wealth of high end high street brands) and has been added to the huge M&S summer sale, will set you back a slightly more purse-friendly £69 – that’s a significant saving of £76. M&S Phase Eight Checked Square Neck Maxi Waisted Dress, £69 (was £99), M&S With its picnic-perfect gingham print, this Phase Eight KITRI dress lookalike is the ideal summer dress that you’ll get plenty of use out of all season long thanks to its versatility. Pair with white trainers for a casual daytime vibe, but change into strappy heels or wedges and you’ve got yourself an easy evening look, too. The low square neckline makes it perfect for showing off a necklace (or some layered gold chains for an on-trend look); for cooler days, we suggest layering it with a cropped denim jacket.
