YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Beauty This is why The Ordinary is the most searched term at Boots By You Magazine - February 10, 2021 Boots recently released its Beauty Trend Report 2021 and it was enlightening to say the least. Revealing how the UK has been shopping for beauty in the past year, it said a lot about our habits and favourites things. One of the biggest revelations was that ‘The Ordinary’ was in fact the most searched-for term at Boots between July and September 2020. The brand is still fairly new to the Boots family, having joined in late 2019, so it make sense that people are still excited by it. Deciem (its founding company) has over a million followers on Instagram and was largely born and thrived in its infancy through its presence on social media. Not only does The Ordinary sell ingredient-led, targeted skincare for super affordable prices (we’re talking under £6 for a great hyaluronic acid serum), they have also created several makeup items that have been incredibly popular. The most recent of these is a concealer, which joins The Ordinary’s bestselling £6 foundation. The concealer — which is sold at Boots — has become incredibly popular after launching earlier this year, and can already count the likes of Holly Willoughby as a fan. At £4.90, it’s super bargain-friendly, and it comes in an impressive 36 shades, meaning it caters to a range of skin tones. The formula is high coverage, making it perfect for stubborn blemishes or areas of redness. It does however still promise to be lightweight and spread easily, without drying the skin out or looking unnatural. Along with the concealer, here are more of our favourite The Ordinary buys you can pick up at Boots.
