The supermarket’s Wine Tasting at Home packages are put together by its professional wine specialists, who run 2-hour guided tastings tailored to the requirements of each of your guests. Each experience is available for between 6-10 participants, and includes two wine tasting glasses per person (to keep!), tasting cards and pens, and even a spittoon. Yes, this really is the real wine-tasting deal… Waitrose There are three set-ups to choose from: the Just Wine package includes one sparkling, two white and two red wines, as well as a port, while the Explorer option includes the same mix of bottles with an all-important platter of nibbles – think savoury goodies like cheeses, crackers, olives and charcuterie. For a truly special occasion, try the Premium deal, where you still get fed and the sparkling wine is replaced with champagne. Whether it’s a hen do, dinner party, birthday celebration or family gathering, the deal is affordable – prices start from £30 per head – and makes hosting at home super simple. Your Waitrose specialist will turn up 30 minutes early, help set up the glassware and snacks, and present everyone with a glass of bubbly when they arrive.
