But tthe latest brand to make a hit design that’s gone viral might just be the nicest yet: enter Mango’s Checkered Wool Blend Jacket. The style, which is part of the brand’s limited edition collection, has been a hit on social media in recent weeks. The grey oversized jacket has been spotted on the likes of Man Repeller’s Leandra Medine and stylist Pernille Teisbaek, and is the perfect layering investment. Checkered Wool-Blend Jacket, £89.99, Mango The neutral jacket would look excellent worn with everything from a roll neck and jeans, to a cute dress, thick woolly tights, and chunky boots. It’s also a great piece for transeasonal dressing; it’s heavy enough to wear when the weather gets cold when layered with a cashmere knit and a scarf, but can also be thrown on alone when the sun starts to appear again come springtime. At £89.99, the jacket isn’t the most affordable design to have come out this winter, but considering it can be worn across seasons, it’s kind of the perfect investment. It comes in two sizes: XS/S and M/L, and has two sets of pockets (at the front and on the sides) for peak practicality. H&M’s bargain £29.99 herringbone-weave shirt jacket experienced phenomenal success, seen all over Instagram and selling instantly. Depressingly, the style is now down to an even more frugal £20, but is still sold out everywhere. Sob. At least we can take solace in the fact that styles such as the Mango shacket exist, even if it means paying slightly more to get our hands on it.
