Perhaps her most unforgettable look was from her wedding to Prince Charles, where she wore a stunning extravagant gown and tiara. Well, it turns out that Princess Charlotte – the only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – is set to inherit the very tiara Princess Diana wore on her wedding day. Getty As the late Diana’s first granddaughter, and only one until the arrival of Lilibet this year, Princess Charlotte apparently has dibs on the memorable heirloom. According to palace sources, Charlotte will get first pick when it comes to Diana’s heirlooms because she is the eldest granddaughter. So when six-year-old Charlotte comes of age, she will have ‘the pick of the palace jewels,’ according to a source close to the Cambridge and Spencer families. The Spencer Tiara is currently being looked after by Earl Charles Spencer, Princess Diana’s younger brother. The Spencer Tiara was designed by Garrard in the 1930s, who used other pieces of jewellery owned by the Spencer family to create the headpiece. Both of Diana’s sisters, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes, also wore the heirloom at their weddings. The Vladimir Tiara. This could include the Vladimir Tiara, including emeralds from Queen Mary – worth a casual £10 million. Princess Charlotte is one lucky little lady!
