YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Beauty Edwina Ings-Chambers Meet my new-season superheroes By You Magazine - October 24, 2021 I’m making space in my make-up bag for these… Dream coverage Sisley Phyto-Teint Nude Foundation, £68, sisley-paris.com Seriously, if someone were to offer me the chance to create my own foundation, the result would be akin to this new offering. This is dream skin in a bottle. It’s the lightest-weight texture you could ever ask for – it looks and feels as though your skin is totally unadorned. And yet it also delivers coverage – just the right amount, that manages to smooth over and blur imperfections while looking as though you’re sporting nothing other than your own complexion. It adds natural radiance and hydration, too. Available in 18 shades. Grown-up gloss Victoria Beckham Posh Gloss, £26, victoriabeckhambeauty.com Yes, VB has done it again on the lip-product front. Regular readers will know that I’m a huge fan of her Posh Lipstick but her latest launch of a clear lipgloss (or Posh Gloss, as she humorously calls it) is also top notch. This truly is a gloss that isn’t sticky or tacky but still delivers great shine. It’s also very hydrating, so good for dry-prone lips like mine. Use alone or over a lipstick – it’s fantastic either way. The handle also comes in her signature chic faux tortoiseshell. Lasting colour Giorgio Armani Lip Power lipstick, £32.50, selfridges.com For a great new lip colour I love this recent launch from Giorgio Armani – which is also the home of my favourite liquid matt lippy, Lip Maestro. In this instance, however, it’s about longwear colour in the form of a lovely, light, creamy formula with a satin finish. It really does offer good pigment, with staying power on a par with what we usually expect from a good matt lipstick, and isn’t drying. Available in 25 shades running the gamut from beige to coral to a host of reds – though I love the nudey pinks such as the one pictured (shade 503). Power lashes Kjaer Weis Im-possible Mascara, £30, net-a-porter.com I’m told this is the first certified organic mascara and I can find no evidence to the contrary. It’s also refillable, using refills made from 50 per cent recycled plastic and a brush made from recycled nylon. The mascara itself is great: a nourishing formula with staying power that gives a natural-looking curl and volume to lashes and leaves them looking individual rather than clumped together. This product embodies excellent cosmetics with a clearer conscience. Buildable blusher & Other Stories Pretty Peach Cream Blush, £15, stories.com I’m always a sucker for a great blush – particularly a great cream blush. And this latest addition at & Other Stories is a well-deserving new favourite. It is very well pigmented, so go easy on the application front to begin with, especially as it’s also easily buildable if you want to ramp up the coverage. Though I’m usually very attracted to pinks, I do find as I get older that a peach tone can be more flattering – but all three colours in the range are lovely: also available in Everything Pink and Intense Rose. @edwinaingschambers RELATED ARTICLESMORE FROM AUTHOR You could get paid to test Liberty’ s Beauty Advent Calendar People are obsessed with this Revlon hair drying tool A new drop of Boots Star Gifts has landed for Christmas 2022 Popular in Beauty People are seriously impressed with Primark’ s £8 skinny curling tongs December 16, 2019 Boots is giving away free lipsticks to celebrate the launch of January 23, 2020 This long-lasting eyebrow product is getting rave reviews and is just June 21, 2021 These Liz Earle gift sets are on sale just in time March 5, 2020 WIN A Kiehl’ s skincare heroes bundle worth £104 July 24, 2020 Cult skincare brand Sunday Riley is branching out into hair products April 24, 2020 Superdrug is holding a huge BOGOF sale on all cosmetics for May 28, 2020 Your salon could charge you extra for overgrown roots and bad June 25, 2020 Facial steamers Why searches for this beauty gadget were up 400 July 10, 2020 Lush subscription boxes have arrived and they contain exclusive new products August 3, 2020 Popular CategoriesFood2704Life2496Fashion2240Beauty1738Celebrity1261Interiors684 Sign up for YOUMail Thanks for subscribing Please check your email to confirm (If you don't see the email, check the spam box) Fashion Beauty Celebrity Life Food Privacy & Cookies T&C Copyright 2022 - YOU Magazine.
