No, really! The company, which is widely popular among holiday makers in Europe, came out on top after some research, conducted by the team at flight-comparison site Jetcost, looked into the airlines that have received the most and the least complaints regarding baggage. Getty Images Their results showed that EasyJet received just 33 complaints related to baggage over the course of 2018 which equated to just 0.042 complaints per 10,000 passengers, and turned out to be better than any of their competitors. On the other side of the spectrum, Wizz Air received 66 grievances about luggage, at 19.35 per 10,000 passengers, making it the airline with the most complaints. The team at Jetcost received the statistics via a freedom of information request from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and analysed the passenger complaints received by each of the airlines involved in the study throughout 2018. As well as highlighting EasyJet as the best for taking care of luggage, their research also found that overall, the number of complaints received by the Passenger Advice and Complaints Team (PACT) has steadily decreased year-on-year.
