That was of course, the white polka dot dress by Zara. Zara The dress, which was so popular that it had its very own Instagram account, @hot4thespot and prompted rival retailers to design endless copycat versions, quickly became a summer staple. But now that temperatures have dropped and the sky is grey again, it appears that the Spanish retailer couldn’t resist launching an autumn version too. Yep, if you thought you’d seen the last of the midi then think again because Zara’s new spin on the dress is red and features a leopard print design, making it perfect for the new season. Originally the flowing, round neck dress proved to be exceptionally popular due to its relaxed fit and flattering sleeve length, and the updated version is no different in terms of silhouette. Zara Printed Dress, £49.99, Zara However, it also has a difference in price as the new version is £49.99, which is £10 more than the price of the original white polka dot version – although we can’t see the increase putting many buyers off. The dress is currently available in sizes XS to XXL but you might want to move fast if you want to get your hands on it as we can see this becoming yet another bestseller for Zara. Who knows, maybe we’ll even see an @hot4theleopard Instagram account popping up soon. This isn’t the first time Zara has launched the dress with an updated twist. Last month, we reported that the retailer also has the dress in a chic black colour. However, there was one downside to the news – the dress is only available in Zara Australia at the moment.
