YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Beauty Sephora is finally opening in the UK By Sophie Hines - October 7, 2022 It may feel like the UK is pretty much going down the pan these days, but fear not – we have one bit of good news, with the confirmation that Sephora will finally be hitting our shores this year. Hurrah! Beauty aficionados currently having to go overseas to visit the store, which sells cult skincare, countless shades of foundation and every buzzy beauty brand you can imagine. Although Sephora briefly hit the UK in early Noughties, it quickly disappeared, leaving many of us hankering after the ultimate skincare and make-up emporium we only get to delve into overseas. The opening of Sephora – which essentially represents a second Christmas for beauty lovers – will initially happen online this month, before a physical Sephora store opens in London in 2023 (and you better believe we will be filming a snoop round on opening day). There are also plans to roll out more Sephora stores across the UK. There have been rumours swirling around Sephora’s UK launch for months, fueled by the brand’s acquisition of online beauty retailer FeelUnique in June 2021. As of October 17, FeelUnique’s website will become Sephora.co.uk, and the two FeelUnique stores in Jersey will eventually be transformed into Sephora shops too. Speaking to Glamour, Sylvie Moreau, the brand’s President in Europe and Middle East, said: ‘It’s Sephora 4.0, tailored to the UK market. We feel makeup is underserved here in the UK, so there will be a focus on makeup as well as skincare.’ This is honestly the joy-bringing news we need right now!
