And whether you love a milky latte or a punchier Americano, this Friday you can get your fix for free, courtesy of Pret A Manger. Yes that’s right – after handing out free cups on Friday 19 July, to the joy of coffee lovers across the nation, the offer is back for Friday 30 August, when your local Pret will once again give you an iced latte, Americano or cup of its new Cold Brew totally free of charge, without the need to purchase anything else in store. Pret And this time it’s not just coffee on the menu – Briony Raven, Head of Coffee and Packaging at Pret, commented: ‘We wanted to see the summer out with one more of our Friday Freeze giveaways – we know our customers love them. ‘Our baristas pair our organic espresso with milk, soya milk or rice-coconut milk and ice for a refreshing pick me up. Customers can also request matcha, turmeric or chai iced lattes, or even chocolate over ice, so there should be something for everyone.’ Alamy Stock Photo If you don’t consume dairy, you’ll be pleased to hear that you can ask for your coffee to be prepared with alternative milk options to ensure that all dietary requirements are catered for. Plus, all of the brand’s iced coffees are served in a recyclable cup with a paper straw, to make them as eco-friendly as possible (well, if you don’t have your KeepCup in your bag, that is). So, how do you go about claiming this glorious freebie? All you need to do is head to Pret’s social media channels (@Pret on Twitter; Pret A Manger on Facebook and @Pret on Instagram) on to find out the ‘password’. Once you have it, you can visit a branch the next day between 10am and 11am to share it with the staff, who will whip up your refreshingly cold drink for free. Happy Friday!
