There a numerous couples who met on the show and are still going strong, from Flavia Cacace and Jimi Mistry, who are still married after being partnered up in 2010, to Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton, who met on the 2018 series. Now, we’ve got a new Strictly couple to get excited about, with two of the show’s professionals revealing they are in a relationship. Nadiya Bychkova has revealed that she is dating co-star Kai Widdrington, months after denying they were romantically involved. Getty ‘We’ve been seeing each other properly for a couple of months now,” she told the Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine. ‘It’s early days and we’ve been rehearsing for the Strictly Professionals tour, so there’s been very little free time. ‘But we’re getting to know more and more about each other day by day. He’s kind and compassionate and makes me laugh. I feel very relaxed with him.’ On the most recent series of Strictly Come Dancing, Nadiya was coupled with TV presenter Dan Walker, while Kai danced with You’s former cover star AJ Odudu. Getty Nadiya has a five-year-old daughter called Mila with her former fiancé, Slovenian footballer Matija Skarabot. She explained how important it is for her to be a positive role model for her daughter despite being separated from her father. ‘We’ll always be connected by Mila, who we love more than anyone,’ she said, ‘We’ll do our best to make sure she’s the happiest child. It’s important to Matija and me that we have a good relationship for Mila’s sake. ‘Having a child surpasses everything else.
