For women, however, brightly-coloured suits are all the rage, for special occasions and parties as well as work. And, this summer, that trend takes on a new iteration: the shorts suit. Featuring a blazer – either oversized or fitted – with a pair of tailored shorts, this look is at once smart and playful. It’s an opportunity to show off your legs (and a fabulous pair of shoes), and provides a great alternative wedding guest outfit if you’re bored of the same old dresses.
