YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Travel Hotel review Fairmont Windsor Park By Rosie Green - April 25, 2022 The perfect detox/re-tox hotel From its grand facade to its imposing lobby, the new Fairmont Windsor hotel is big (okay massive) on everything – space, luxury and welcome. The hotel opened at the start of 2022 and everything in it feels shiny and pristine. It looks old, but it feels all new. The surfaces gleam, the gardens are perfectly manicured and the staff keen to impress. It has all the facilities you’d want for a decadent weekend away – a full service spa, a plethora of restaurants, even a sweet shop and a barbers. If this hotel were a car it would be a Bentley, expensive, sexy, capacious and yes, a little bit showy. Fairmont Windsor Park hotel review Rooms and Facilities The rooms are seriously luxurious. Tastefully decorated with tactile textures and muted colours, they have marble bathrooms, Le Labo products and the most comfortable beds this reviewer has ever slept in. The spa is truly impressive. It is enormous and offers every experience you could want. A large indoor pool to float around in, hot tub, a proper hammam and all the usual steam, sauna and salt rooms. Oh and one of the only Cryochambers in the UK. Go in there with your friend or partner and see who can endure three minutes at minus 110 degrees. Food and drink The 1215 bar is highly instagrammable – but it’s got style and substance – the cocktails taste as good as they look. Afternoon tea in the pretty Orchid Tea Room is a big deal and there’s also the swanky fine dining 1215 restaurant and the more relaxed MOREISH – which has a Middle Eastern vibe. Hotel highlights The breakfast is beautifully done with every whim catered for and the best quality produce. The dapper doormen deserve a mention for a great welcome as do the beautifully designed nooks and crannies guests can cosy down in to enjoy a drink. What to do nearby Windsor castle – obviously – and for those with kids, Legoland is nearby. For equestrian fans there is Royal Windsor Race Course and Ascot Race Course. Best for A detox/retox splurge weekend or super luxe pre/post holiday stay – Heathrow airport is 20 minutes way For more information on the Fairmont Windsor Park Hotel, click here. Prices start from £421 per night.
