YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Beauty This is the most popular beauty brand in the UK right now according to Cosmetify By You Magazine - November 18, 2019 Online beauty discovery platform Cosmetify offers a chance to compare the prices of over 180,000 products from brands such as NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, and The Ordinary, and it also reveals things about the beauty industry – as well as consumer habits – in research it conducts. Perhaps the most interesting report it has released so far is the one in which it reveals which beauty brands are most popular around the world. Cosmetify considered five factors when conducting its research, including overall brand searches per month, the brand’s engagement rate on social media, and the increases in consumer interest on Google. Through these considerations, it was determined that The Body Shop is the favourite brand of the UK’s, as well as Norway, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia’s. Image: Cosmetify The other brands favoured worldwide varied vastly, with some, such as the USA’s pick (Glossier), fairly unsurprising, and others such as Iceland (whose was Kylie Cosmetics) a little less predictable. The report also revealed a number of other interesting things, including who the most influential figures in beauty currently are (Huda Kattan, Millie Bobbie Brown and Kylie Jenner, in the respective one, two, and three top spots), as well as which brands are most searched for in terms of specific products. So for example, consumers searching for eyebrow products will go to Glossier, while Estee Lauder wins when it comes to foundations. Lipstick searches go to Mac, and highlighter fans will gravitate towards Becca, who is famous for lit-from-within glow-enhancing products.
