First up, the location: Glossier’s chosen first bricks and mortar store is located right bang in the middle of things, in London’s Covent Garden. The store is tucked away in Floral Street, away from the main strip and yet still right around the corner from Covent Garden tube station, which is pretty ideal. As with everything Glossier does, the interiors are perfectly thought out throughout, and speak to their loyal fan base. In honour of the street name, a floral interior is a super-apt choice, and proof that Glossier is considered in every decision they make. Emily Weiss and her team drew inspiration from the traditional British social clubs of London, and in addition to the bespoke flowery wall designs, there is a ‘Glossier Rooftop,’ installation that pays homage to the London skyline, which you’ve probably already seen all over Instagram. But if you’re not one of the 100,000 people who have managed to make it down in person so far, now’s your chance, as the temporary opening has just been extended to the end of the year. Like with all of Glossier’s real life stores, all products from the range (including the fragrance, body collection, makeup, skincare, and Glossier Play) will remain available to play with, test out, and buy then and there. Prior to this, Glossier had only ever been available to UK fans online before, and the interactive store was the first opportunity for many Glossier buffs to try things out before they buy them. It’s therefore no surprise that it’s fast become the most visited Glossier pop-up of all time, with the highest average daily sales too. On your visit, don’t forget well as the full line up of products, the London Glossier store also stocks a limited edition pink Glossier umbrella, which is only available in London. At £25, it’s not super affordable, but £5 of every purchase does go towards the Young Women’s Trust, which is a charity that fights for gender equality and helps struggling young women gain confidence and find work. Glossier London is located at 13 Floral Street, Covent Garden, and open during the following hours: Monday-Saturday 10:00-19:00pm, and Sunday 11am-18:00pm. Happy shopping!
