YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Interiors All our favourite pieces from the joyous Cath Kidston x DFS collaboration By Anya Meyerowitz - September 15, 2022 If there are two staples of British interiors, it’s DFS and Cath Kidston. One is practical, with an almost guaranteed year-round sale on comfy sofas and the other focuses on kitsch, distinctively-British designs on a mix of everything from clothing to stationary. When you bring the two together, it’s little surprise that you’re left with an uplifting range of patterned homeware that is certain to add a joyful flourish to your home. Available exclusively at DFS, the new collection includes upholstered sofas, beds, accent chairs, chaise longues and footstools in Cath Kidston’s signature – and sought-after – hand-painted prints. Handcrafted in Britain in a range of recycled fabrics, the collection is complemented with a selection of scatter cushions printed on 100% recycled cloth. The new collection features re-mastered signature Cath Kidston prints including Forever Rose and Endless Love, together with the brand’s latest print designs, such as Strawberry Garden, Painted Kingdom and Summer Birds. ‘Each print has been lovingly painted by hand and paired with colourful accents and trims, with a focus on detail and quality,’ says Cath Kidston Creative Director, Holly Marler. ‘To see the pieces hand crafted with care with the same attention to detail as in our paintings, made this collaboration truly authentic, coupled with the team’s incredible passion, I simply cannot wait to see the wonderful pieces in people’s homes.’ We’re getting chic, English countryside, mixed with boutique, designer hotel – in short, the perfect mix.
