Well, innovative high street giant Primark has just made that a reality. The fast fashion brand has joined forces with popular London blow dry bar Duck & Dry to create an in-store salon experience that will launch in Primark’s flagship store on Oxford Street on 18 March. Alamy Stock Photos The brand is also building a 3000 square foot salon in the new biggest-ever Primark set to open in the Midlands in April, which will then be followed by a further 40 salons set to be opened in various stores by 2020. For now, as reported by Get The Gloss, customers can look forward to hair, nail and brow stations (appropriately named Duck & Dry Xpress, Duck & Pluck and Duck & File) at the London flagship store next month – all of which, in true Primark style, are priced at purse-friendly rates. We’re talking £13-£17 for a blow dry, £10 for a file and polish and £6 for threading. The menu also consists of pedis, updos, braiding, brow and lash tinting – you can even get a gel mani. And there’s a special kids station where under 11s can enjoy hairdos for just £10. Duck & Dry Talking about the new venture, Duck & Dry founder Yulia Rorstrom said: ‘We are so excited to be collaborating with Britain’s largest fashion retailer and found their vision to provide fast-paced beauty services to the high street very inspiring. The Duck & Dry brand experience will enhance their vision with our know-how of express, quality beauty services, along with our vibrant, signature aesthetics, at high street prices.’ The collaboration comes shortly after Primark’s latest beauty launch in which they teamed up with influencer and beauty director Alex Steinherr for their first skincare range. The collection, consisting of luxury-produced products for under a fiver, has since become a huge hit for the retailer.
