Ordering a takeaway brings joy to the hardest of times, particularly during the lockdowns of 2020 and 2021. And now, the food delivery app has expanded to offer other goods, including the likes of medicine and even makeup from Boots. Getty Images Boots and Deliveroo trailed the partnership last year as a pilot scheme in 14 stores across the UK, and it was seemingly a success as the service is now in action at 125 Boots stores around the country. Offering over 750 items on the app, including cold and flu medication, hay fever products, baby products and even makeup (ideal if you’re caught out prior to a night out or big event!), people across cities including Manchester, Aberdeen, London, York, Sheffield, Belfast, Bristol and more can hop onto the Deliveroo app and order products in seconds to be delivered straight to their door. Boots The initial trial period focussed on delivering essentials and medicated items to people, but this bigger roll-out sees a lot more products being added to the service, including a huge range of haircare, skincare and personal care goods, with popular brands including Inkey List, La Roche-Posay, CeraVe, Revlon, Fenty Beauty, Maybelline and Benefit all in the mix. Getty Images To find out if you have a local participating store near you, simply go on the Deliveroo app and type in your postcode. Then, type Boots into the search bar, and if there’s a participating store near to you it will appear along with the current proposed delivery wait time.
