It’s the perfect occasion to sing along to the best belters and let out all of your embarrassing moves on the dancefloor, but which song is guaranteed to get people grooving? It turns out for many of us, it’s an ABBA classic that we just can’t resist. Getty Images According to a survey of 2,000 people, ‘Dancing Queen’ by ABBA has topped the ultimate wedding playlist of dance floor fillers. In fact, ABBA was the only band to make the top 10 twice, with the incredibly catchy ‘Mamma Mia’ coming in at number eight. The research, carried out by Jacob’s Mini Cheddars, found six in 10 Brits thought the best wedding playlist should feature cheesy songs, and one in five said dancing was the best way to celebrate a new marriage. A third of those asked thought speeches were the cringiest part of a wedding, however more than a quarter said the couple’s first dance was the most awkward moment.
