YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Health Amazon is selling a Fitbit-inspired fitness tracker for £18 – and shoppers love it By Kanika Banwait - August 16, 2022 Finding the motivation to workout isn’t always easy. When it’s so hot and humid outside, it’s not exactly appealing to do something that will make you sweat even more. But wearing a fitness tracker might just give you the boost you need to get up and move – and you don’t even need to spend a fortune to get one. Amazon is selling a fitness tracker that looks pretty similar to a Fitbit watch, but for a fraction of the price, and it’s been receiving some excellent reviews. The Honor Band 5 Fitness Bracelet monitors your heart rate, as well as sending out heart rate warnings if you’re pushing yourself a bit too hard. It also tracks and monitors daily activities, such as step count, calories burned and distance travelled. HONOR Band 5 Fitness Bracelet, £17.99, Amazon The sleek design and added features make it very wearable – the fitness tracker connects to devices via Bluetooth and will send you notifications for exercise, but also has caller ID, SMS, email, weather reports, a calendar and access to social apps. As for the exercise, the watch supports running, walking, cycling and swimming so you can mix up your workout routine while still keeping track. One happy customer wrote: ‘Considering this is a lot cheaper compared to the big name brands, I think this seems to work just as good [sic]. I mainly bought it simply as a way of keeping a check on my steps and found out it that it actually has a variety of other options to use such as measuring your heart rate and monitoring your sleep pattern which I have found very useful.’ If you would like to splash out on an actual Fitbit fitness tracker, the good news is a range of them are currently on sale on Amazon. There are even some with up to 50 per cent off!
