Well, it turns out your sweet treat could now earn you a casual £10,000, thanks to an exciting new Cadbury Creme Egg competition. Cadbury Cadbury has launched a brand new competition to find an elusive ‘half-and-half’ Creme Egg across the nation. And the best part isn’t just an excuse to eat chocolate – there are major cash prizes to be won. 146 half-milk and half-white chocolate Creme Eggs have been concealed inside regular wrappers and hidden around the UK. That means, from the outside alone, you won’t be able to tell if your Creme Egg is a winning treat. Cadbury Six of the eggs are worth a whopping £10,000, but a prize that grand comes with its challenges. The eggs could be located in any Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Co-op, or other independent retailer. Only three eggs are worth £5,000 and can be discovered in Waitrose, One Stop and Booker. Four eggs, worth £1,000, will be hidden in Iceland and Booths stores. The next largest cash prize is £500, which can be redeemed from a total of 12 eggs – two of these will be in a Poundland store. The remaining winning Creme Eggs will offer a cash prize of £50. Shoppers have until 17 April to find the special Creme Eggs and the prizes must be claimed by 17 June 2022. So what happens if you’re lucky enough to win? You’ll need to call a number that’s printed on the wrapper to register. The Cadbury team will verify your half-and-half egg by asking for a unique code on it, and when and where it was purchased.
