Charlotte Hawkins was on the set of Good Morning Britain yesterday when the cast checked in with Christine on Lorraine, where she’s currently covering host Lorraine Kelly’s summer holiday. And the cross-reference had viewers doing a serious double take when they realised that both presenters were in almost identical outfits, albeit in different colours. What’s going on?’ ‘Kate, I just sort of noticed and thought no one would notice apart from me!’ Christine exclaimed, to which Kate responded: ‘You can always rely on me!’ Rex Features The pair even have different stylists, so the match was entirely coincidental – Charlotte is typically dressed by Debbie Harper, who also looks after Kate Garraway and Laura Tobin, while Christine works with Angie Smith, advisor to Holly Willoughby, Rochelle Humes, Geri Halliwell and Laura Whitmore. Bennett It’s worth noting that the dress is silk, which is always more expensive than other fabrics, and according to the brand, was ‘inspired by a vintage discovery in the south of France’, channeling a hyper-elegant 1940s feel. ‘Wear it with sandals or espadrilles over the summer and layer up with knitwear and boots come autumn,’ it advises. With its narrow collar, subtle puff-shoulder detail and waist-cinching belt, it’s undoubtedly a stunning piece. If your budget stretches, it’ll be worth the investment, and if not? The high street isn’t short on zebra print for the months ahead, so there’ll be plenty of dupes on the horizon.
